Hey everyone, not sure if anyone is really using this forum but I am looking for advice on all the new tech. Been wearing apex for a long while and am thinking about upgrading

    Hi Ethan!

Thank you for posting in the forum! I can explain a few things about the hearing aid technology in the market currently and what we carry here at Otofonix. The Apex is a great device! Our Elite is a little bit stronger and is also battery operated. We then have the Helix which is a rechargeable option for those who prefer not to change batteries.

Then comes the Groove with new technology that can can control the device via an application on your smart phone. You can change the sound settings and volume on the app versus having to change it on the device itself.

The latest technology now is Bluetooth streaming. Which the device is controlled by the app (as well as on by the device) and it can connect to calls or a tv via Bluetooth directly! No more having talk on speaker, or holding the phone away from your ear to avoid feedback. You can connect call directly to the hearing aid itself! And, we are excited to announce we have one coming to market in the next few weeks!

Please let me know if you have any further questions. You can always reply here or directly to us.

    Thank you!

I have always used otofonix devices, I can’t say anything other than this story. Awhile ago I had a medical emergency and collapsed hitting my head on a curb and ending up in a puddle head first I came to in the hospital with one broken hearing aid and the other was gone. I messaged otofonix and you just sent me another pair identical to what I had. I guess I am saving up for some Bluetooth tech.
